It has a firewire connection so you can connect a digital camera to it for instance which is rather handy and a nice feature. The mouse pad is really nice and has smooth movement, which is great as some acer laptops I've used recently have been really slow sticky movement. It has built in wireless, however it doesn't have an external switch to enable or disable which is a little annoying.
