OXO Stock Cubes Chicken

I like cooking and one of my favourite foods is chicken, I do eat it quite a lot and so I like to cook it in different ways so that I do not get bored of eating it and also I like to eat it in a variety of ways because then I can sometimes make a dish that will last me more than one day placed in the fridge for the next day etc. I buy these cubes on a regular basis and always have them in my food cupboard for when I need them, they are cheap and so affordable for any budget. An object like a chicken stock cube is fairly hard to review - but until recently I would have happily given OXO Chicken 4.5 out of 5 as they were unobtrusive yet added plenty of roundness and 'umami' style flavour to a dish. Granted, a poor substitute for real chicken stock made from roasting pan juices and a gently-simmered carcass, but perfectly usable in a variety of applications and subtle enough to be used in 'chef' applications as a substitute for proper stock.
