I bought a solid mahogany bookcase from this site back in early july. It has just been delivered in late september, though the site did state that delivery could take up to 16 weeks on this item. I did have some concerns due to a few reviews where quality was an issue. Now I have the product I have to say that it does look very nice. I ordered over £1700 worth of furniture from Oakland Furniture. I was told that the items would be sent to me all together, and that would be within the next 14 days. I Made space in the house for the new furniture, and sold the old stuff. 14 days went by and nothing! I phoned Oakland Furniture and was told that the goods had been picked up by the courier, and they had 3 weeks to conatct me, then they would let me know when they can deliver it.. ...

We ordered several items from Oakland Furniture. They were despatched about 3 weeks after ordering (despite all having a despatch time of 7 days). We then waited another 3 weeks before the courier company phoned us with a delivery date. This means our furniture was sat in the couriers warehouse for 3 weeks!!
