I ordered over £1700 worth of furniture from Oakland Furniture. I was told that the items would be sent to me all together, and that would be within the next 14 days. I Made space in the house for the new furniture, and sold the old stuff.
14 days went by and nothing! I phoned Oakland Furniture and was told that the goods had been picked up by the courier, and they had 3 weeks to conatct me, then they would let me know when they can deliver it.. So I have now been without MY furniture for over 3 weeks now, and have just heard I have to wait another 4 weeks before it can be delivered.
£1700 for a service as bad as this........ spend your money elsewhere!

The delivery service, a less important aspect.... are you serious?
How much detail is required. They take your money, and then don't delivery as per their T&C's.
More detail. I ordered 2 X Solid Oak bookcases. 1 X Desk and 1 X cabinet. I was told the items would be dispatched within 14 days (i ordered on a Monday at 9:03).
I sold the old furniture on ebay, and got £97.50 for a wardrobe.....
If people the delivery isn't much of an issue, then maybe they have been used to sub standard services all their life.
