Oak Furniture Land Chaucer Chest of Drawers

Oak Furniture Land as you would probably realise, sells oak furniture. I firstly came across them after searching on the internet for oak furniture to go in our new house. This was a couple of years ago and we now have quite a few pieces of their furniture as in my opinion it is really good quality, looks great and comes at a great price too. Initially they had just a website but now they have stores too, our nearest being Milton Keynes so its nice to be able to go to the showroom and have a look around but I can promise that you will pleasantly surprised.

On their website they always seem to be having a sale, everything has money knocked off it of with banner advertisements telling you that the sale ends soon and do not miss out. Well, I guess with most things on the internet you pay your money and take your chance but when some of their furniture arrived we were really impressed. This is good solid, proper oak furniture. You can see at the joints that it is put together properly and not just stuck together with glue and we have been really impressed with all the furniture we have received so far. Our first purchase was a side table for our entry hall and then we bought some furniture for our bedroom including this chest of drawers and a side table in their Chaucer design. We went with this one not only because we liked the design but that other items of furniture came in the Chaucer design too so because we could match our items we went with that.

There are two big drawers at the bottom which I really like as you can put your bulkier clothes items in here such as jumpers, and jeans and as the draw is the whole way across the chest they fit in really well and do not weigh the draws down. I have never had a problem with these draws coming off their tracks or breaking because there is too much in there.

I also like the chest has three smaller drawers all in a line at the top. These are great for putting smaller items such as underwear and because they are small you can separate out items such as pants and bras and they do not get all jumbled up together like they would in a big drawer.

What I also like about this website is that they give you clear dimensions too of the chest of drawers as this really helps in measuring to see if it will fit in your bedroom. The dimensions are given as: (W) 120cm x (H) 96cm x (D) 48cm

We bought this chest of deawers a while ago now but after a quick browse according to the website this chest of drawers costs £756.02 but now the discount is down to £299.12. A great price for a great bit of furniture.
