Best £400 I ever spent
Advantages: excellent fast bike with good handling Disadvantages: only one radiator
...advertised as a mid 80s Kawasaki KX 200. It said it was a bit atty but ran fine. I waited until the last bid and won the bike for £431 at that point i didn't have a trailer so we went to collect it in an estate car.
When we arrived the bike wouldn't start. The man said it was probably the coil that needed replacing and knocked £30. So we paid and then spent ages trying to force this huge motocross bike into the back of a car. Finally (i don't know ... ...other engine parts.
The Kawasaki KMX was basically a road going version of the KX. The styling of the bike, the frame and the suspension made them ideal for offroad use. There is a 125cc model and a 200cc model.
The engine is a liquid cooled single cylinder 2 stroke with reed valve induction and kawasaki's KIPS system (kawasaki integrated power system) which gives the bike that bit of extra grunt. And has a Mikuni carb on it.

My first trail
Advantages: two cylinders Disadvantages: a little bit high for me
I have bought for my pleasure and also for my work an kawazaki kle.
It's a relative cheap motorbike with a two cylibnder 4 stroke engine, very souple.
I a m not a real fan of motorbiking but i drive every day 120 kilometers with this kaxazaki without a problem. My cruising speed is round 130 km/hr if there is not too much wind.
I'am a little bit disturbed if ther is too much wind, of if i a m after à truck, but with a lot more driving it will ... ...who don't like to have a naked bike and who wants to drive during the week end on the little roads of off road.
With a waranty of 2 years without limit in km, i think that i will perform a 40 000 km in two years and then change my kle for a street machine. ...
