I have always thought that the Oil of Olay range was for people over 40 who wanted to make their skin feel and look young again. I must admit that my perception of Oil of Olay was probably gained from the Oil of Olay adverts which USE TO appear on our television screens.
At the age of 16 I had not used any moisturisers on my face at all. However I found that my face had suddenly started becoming dry so I hit the shops to buy one of the teenage moisturisers or creams. Funnily enough I totally walked past the Oil of Olay section because me and my friends thought that it was only for people who wanted to look young again. That day I bought one of the normal teenage moisturisers and that worked fine for me until I started to breakout into spots. I had never really been through the spot phase but I had heard that the best thing for treatment and prevention of spots was tea tree. Although tea tree is supposed to be the best thing for spots and my spots definately went away I found that my skin had once again become dry.
I was getting into this vicious circle of using spot cream which made my skin dry then using moisturisers which started the spots off again. I decided to go to the doctors who gave me a emollient cream, this did not work because it was just too greasy.
One day in the middle of a dry skin phase I was watching television and saw a advert for Oil of Olay. The advert made me think that it wasn't just for the over 40's so the next day I popped down to my local chemist and bought myself some Oil of Olay moisturising fluid.
I have been using Oil of Olay for the last six months and it has solved my problems with spots and dry skin. I think that Oil of Olay has the right formulation which moisturises my face but also because its not greasy it prevents the spots coming back.
So now I dont care what my friends have to say - Oil of Olay is definately the moisturiser for me.

I started using Oil of Olay when I was about 17 my nan gave me some when she was visiting and I had run out of my normal one. I will be 40 this year (Groan) and have stuck with Olay all this time. My daughter who is now 16 has started using it too. Don't worry what your friends say they will discover the benifits of Olay when they get lines and you don't.
