Yes, I’m on the trail of special offers again, in my local Superdrug as usual!
PACKAGING I bought the refill pack so there may be a difference to the normal packs. The refills come in a box with the Olay logo with the words Daily Facials on it; the cloths themselves are enclosed in a plastic wrapper inside the box. There’s not a lot else I can say about that (I watched Forrest Gump on Sunday!)
THE CLOTHS Initially the when the cloths are taken out of the plastic wrapper each cloth is folded into quarters with a shiny side up. This shiny side is what will create the lather when the cloth is made wet. The cloth has two different sides, one a soft side, which is for gentle cleansing of the more delicate areas of the face like the eyes, and one is a rough side, this is for gentle exfoliation on the main of the face and neck.
The cloths are lightly fragranced, and they are what I would call the Olay smell! They smell slightly sweet, but the smell doesn’t last long.
HOW TO USE THEM 1 – Make the cloth wet. 2 – Rub the cloth together and it will become lathered up. 3 – use the cloths and the lather to cleanse and exfoliate your skin on your face and neck. 4 – Rinse the lather off, using the cloth.
DO THEY WORK? Well I think they work. My skin stays clear and even though I have dry skin I normally have no need to use a moisturising cream afterwards. I have used the oily/combination skin variety, but you may also get sensitive and normal varieties. I would probably normally get the sensitive but the oily/combination was the only one they had at the time.
All makeup is removed easily and without fuss, and sometimes you can even see that the cloths change colour as it gets the dirt off.
PRICE As I said before I got these on special offer. It was buy one get one free offer, so I got two packs for £4.69 – not bad. Each pack has 30 cloths so you get 30 days supply for £4.69. I know that may sound expensive but I don’t think it is as I only use one a day and they also work extremely well.
OVERALL I would definitely buy these again, but I would probably get the sensitive variety. They may sound expensive but if you think they replace soap, makeup remover, cleansing milk and tone they don’t sound too bad after all.
I bought these on the same offer you had! That way I thought it was great value for money!

great op......makes me think these might be a good idea when I have had a small sherry or 2 and keep dropping fiddly bottles of make-up remover on the stone floor...

Review of Oil of Olay Daily Facials
Advantages: The former product kept my skin soft and smooth and actually looking younger Disadvantages: I do not like the fact that you are selling basically a piece of cloth with soap for facial cleans
