I have been using oil of Ulay or should I now say Olay since I was 14 yrs old, 20 years on and I still favour this moisturiser (well apart from the name, preferred ulay!) more than any other product on the market. I suppose you would like to know why?
Well I suppose it's true, beauty secrets are passed down from mother to daughter. I first got hooked on the product because I got a very badly burnt face one holiday and we didn't have ... ...as much as possible using Oil of Ulay everyday religiously! Voila, I am now 34, have no wrinkles and my skin is in pretty good nick and in many ways I like to think its all down to moisturising twice a day with oil of ulay.
Oil of Olay is manufactured in Ireland and is part of the Proctor and Gamble group. They produce a very wide range of

Voila, I am now 34, have no wrinkles and my skin is in pretty good nick and in many ways I like to think its all down to moisturising twice a day with oil of ulay.

The product I use in the daytime is the Oil of Olay Daily Moisturiser with UV protection, it comes in a 100ml pot/container, a container this size I can make last for almost 6 months or more, the thing with this moisturiser is you do not need to use a lot to get the right result. I use a tiny blob each day and it soaks in nicely over my entire face without making it feel dry. It's an absolute fantastic daily moisturiser with ingredients to help maintain healthy looking skin. Also and added bonus is that it contain a advanced UV protection of SPF 15 with a Vitamin/Mineral complex to protect my skin from the daily effects of the outside elements UVA and UVB rays which are said to be the main cause of wrinkles and premature skin ageing. I myself would never now use a moisturiser that didn't contain this in this day and age. It's also a non greasy moisturiser that provides up to 24hrs hydration but to be honest I just wash my face at night with plain soap and then add the Olay normal moisturiser for bedtime. This product is dermatological tested and caters for all skin types so as not to clog skin pores. I went through an acne stage in my late teens but found this product when worked with washing with normal soap actually cleared up my spots, but then that's another debate!
The moisturiser itself is white with a faint pleasant smell, reminds me of baby lotion, its quite a thin product but it smooths on nicely to my skin and soaks in well making my skin feel lovely and refreshed and very soft and revitalised in the mornings. It also works well under foundation makeup, I find doing that in the summer with a UV in the foundation as well gives me double protection against the effects of the sun.
You can buy Oil of Olay from most supermarkets, chemists and other retail outlets but I never ever buy this product at its normal retail price of around £5.99, I always have time to shop around for a sale on this as the product lasts me quite sometime, I can usually pick it up for around £3.99. Please do not be put off by the cheap price on this.
I can say all in all this product is excellent value for money, it can last ages and gives your skin all the nourishment and protection you need for daily skin care. I would like to mention that I have used some very expensive moisturisers in the past and they have failed to keep me coming back and buying them again. If I ever have a daughter I can pass on this beauty secret gem.
Advantages: Easily absorbed, Does what it says it will, Disadvantages: None
Oil of Ulay was a favourite of mine for years, and the name change to Oil of Olay (it's American name - cheaper to make the adverts if you only have to do one lot for the English speaking countries, methinks) has changed nothing. Nor the fact that they have a complete range of products now, when for years it was the tried and trusted beauty fluid. I love this stuff. I'm 45 now, but my skin is as nice as (and better than some) people's who are half ... ...dry skin, and enable your skin to retain the moisture. I like the fact that their are UV protectants in it now. Years ago, we didn't know the damage that could occur from the sun's rays, we do now, and you have only to look at the older women who were sun worshippers in those years. Their leathery looking skin is testimony to the damage that can be wrought from sun and wind. It is a lighter lotion than a lot of similar products and the old advertising ...

Advantages: Value for money, good quality product Disadvantages: none
This product has an amazing effect on my skin, actually on my face. I use it morning and night and now I feel really good and young. Though I am in my mid-twenties, people still thought that I look in my teens, actually I'm not sure if it is a compliment. The cream is not as thick as other cream like nivea. It is suitable for daily use as often as you want to. The pinkish cream has a very subtle fragrance and the most important of all, it is not ...

Oil of Olay moisturising fluid as it is now known but it is the original oil of ulay product that has been around for years. It is lightly scented and a delicate pink in colour. it soaks in quickly and does not leave a greasy or stickness residue. It moisturises and softens the skin and it helps with fine lines and reduces the signs of ageing. In fact it does as good a job as all the specialist ageing creams but it only costs half as much so it is ...

Advantages: none Disadvantages: feels awful, looks awful, is awful
The Oil Of Olay (as it is now known, although Oil Of Ugly would be more appropriate!)moisturising fluid is in my opinion a complete waste of money. It's runny, and as a result is very hard to put on without it running down your arms! It feels oily on the skin and feels as though you have just rubbed cooking oil over your face. For a company that has so many excellent products out it amazes me that someone actually agreed to market this rubbish! I ... ...The smell reminds me of my granny (no offence gran!) and the colour a pale pink. I have to be honest and say that it reminds me of pink snot in both the look and consistency. It is outdated and should be retired as soon as possible. ...
