When I have my daily shower I feel great you can too
Background ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ After using lets say an inferior shower product I was on the search for a new brand….
I made sure I had plenty of time to browse the aisles in my local Sainsbury’s so that I could read the bottle and look for just the one I wanted.
My Goal ~~~~~ Having a sensitive, dry skin, I wanted a shower product that smelled nice, made you feel clean and fresh, and also moisturised the skin at the same time.
My Choice ~~~~~~ Oil of Olay….. (or Ulay as I last remembered it) Moisturising Body wash
Why this one? ~~~~~~~~ 1) The bottle – I liked the feel and shape, being chunky it fitted nicely in your hand, the cap was easy to open and it looked easy to use.
2) The Price – at £3.99 it was about the same as many others on the shelf.
3) Sainsbury’s Nectar points: for anybody with nectar they offer 300 points per bottle at the moment…..
4) The Promise – For use in shower 60+ uses (sounded good value)
- also promised to moisturise with a clean fresh feel (sounded good to me)
Using for the first Time ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bottle – yes 10/10 it was easy to open while in the shower and nice to hold did not feel awkward.
Smell – lovely 10/10 reminded me off fresh flowers a floral aroma made me feel fresh just by the sniff test
Feel – nice and light not too sticky just right (so straight onto my shower puff) 9/10 (be careful not to apply too much as I did until I realised a little goes a long way) I bet you can get 60+ uses if used correctly……..
Usage – I liked the lather plenty of foam, it glided nicely over the skin you could feel the moisturisers, and I did feel quite invigorated afterwards. 9/10
Skin – it did leave my skin feeling soft and I use this every day and am very pleased with the results 10/10 – (may I say it even felt good on my more sensitive body areas)………
On The Bottle ~~~~~~~~ Oil of Ulay NOW Oil of Olay
Moisturising Body Wash For use in shower and bath up to 60+ uses with a puff Enriched with Olay Moisturisers
Directions: Wet puff and squeeze a little work onto body rinse off (Hey Hoo there you go easy)
Advantages: you feel sexy after a shower without having to slap on moisturisers that may compromise this feeling. Disadvantages: none but those on your wallet.
