I don't like to wear a lot of make up at work but I have got to the stage where a little colour does make me look better. Rather than wear foundation I much prefer the look of a tinted moisturiser. I discovered Olay ProVital Revitalising Tinted Moisturiser a few years ago and it has served me well since then.

At one time you could get it in most supermarkets on the cosmetics shelf but it seems to be more tricky to find these days. However both Boots and Superdrug stock it and my last tube cost £7.99 for a 50ml tube.

This is a moisturiser which is designed to provide the intensive hydration mature skin needs. It contains Vitamins E and Pro-Vitamin A & B5 to nourish and strengthen the skin. It helps a little in evening out skin tone and gives a hint of colour.

I think this is a great product for anyone who, like me, doesn't want to wear make-up every day or who wants a light, transparent option for evenings, holidays and summer time.

The product comes in a gold coloured box containing a tube with a large flat top. This is ideal as it allows you to store the product upright and ensures you can use all of the contents of the tube. I find this product lasts me for ages as I don't need very much to give me a healthier looking glow. Unlike some tinted moisturisers you can see the colour with this one and it does make a difference without being too heavily coloured - a little goes quite a long way. I generally use my normal clear moisturiser first thing in the morning and then apply this as I get ready to go to work once my regular moisturiser has been absorbed. In that way I can ensure a light coating of colouring as this prevents over-absorption of the tinted cream and an excessively dark result.

Would I recommend it?

Yes I would - it is reasonably priced and lasts well on my skin. A tube seems to last quite a long time and it gives a fairly natural look with a hint of colour which is ideal in an English Winter when I tend to look a little pale without any make up at all. It is gentle moisturiser which doesn't irritate my skin (I have included alist of indgredients at the end of the review so that those with sensitive skins can check). It is made by Olay which is a well established name in the cosmetics industry and this product has a light moisturising quality. It is designed for 'mature skin' but as it isn't excessively greasy I would imagine it would suit most ages. Worth thinking about if you prefer not to look pale.
