Before I get started can I just say that the picture that goes with this is for the daycream but I'm talking about the night one.
Right, on with the op!
I've been using their intensive overnighttreatment for a few months and it has totally hit the spot for me.
It has a rich consistency that is by no means greasy but definitely floods your skin with moisture and leaves you with a comfortable warm sensation. My dry skin just loves it. A product that you don't need to reapply and that leaves you with great skin by morning.
I would describe it as velvety. Utterly sumptuous. It really feels expensive - but unfortunately it actually is.
As for the packaging though, I have to say I hate it! The black and gold looks so cheap and eighties! There is too much writing on and too many colours on the black. The only advantage I can think of is that it makes it obvious that this is a night cream, as it's dark and spangly.
I do like the pump action nozzle, as I'm a sucker for details like that, but it does tend to spew out a little more than you had bargained for. This is probably an attempt to make you get through it quickly so you buy more, but I've perfected a very slow plunge to get the right amount, which is about a third of a squirt!
I also think they've been crafty buggers by adding that giant nozzle in a huge transparent lid. There is an indent in the base and the casing feels like it has a cavity or is quite thick. All this makes it look like a big bottle that must hold loads - but it's only 50ml really.
BUT, having said all that, and having found out their wicked evil tricks - I'm still a fan. After all, it's a great product. My face is very hard to please usually, so when I do find something it likes, I hang onto it!
I managed to pick up a bottle for £12 in a little price cut chemist in Winchester (where my mum lives), which is great because it normally retails at around £20, or just under. If you see an offer like this, and you have dry skin, I'd really take advantage, as I can't imagine anyone not loving it!
I don't think I'd ever buy it for its full retail value as for that price you could get a 'big name' brand. So, if I don't see it at an exceptional price again here in London - I'm ringing my mum!
