~Skin type suitability~
Olay Touch is suitable for normal, dry, oily and combination skins, I have also read that it is ‘gentle enough to be used around the eye area’. It has been dermatological tested and is non comedogenic. Comedogenic meaning it won’t clog you pores. I would tend to disagree with this, as I will explain later. And a hydrating delivery system that is long lasting, particularly good if you’re prone to dry patches.
~Instructions~
Apply to a well-cleansed face and neck, morning and night.
~Ingredients~
This is total beyond me not being chemically minded, but for those of you who are interested I have placed them at the end of my review.
~The product~
Ok, here goes; lid off time for the sniff test; a very pleasant subtle rose aroma with violet under tones it reminds me of my grannies cottage garden. Lovely Now for the texture test, very smooth the cream melts quickly into the skin leaving no sticky or residue oiliness.
~The results~
Being the wrinkly that I am, yep I’ve got them, there they are etched on my features for all to see. So I slather, lather and without fail massage the product into my skin for weeks and yes the old skin feels soft, smoother but… SPOTTY, blemished, zitty, or whatever your favoured word is for them, horrid creamy deposits sitting under my skin. Now I cannot categorically say Olay Touch caused this, perhaps I choose the wrong product for my skin type; an oily T zone with dry patches and the odd large pore. All I can conclude is that since changing products the spots have receded, but the wrinkles I unfortunately I think are here to stay. And I have a delightful if not expensive hand cream.
Advantages: Absorbs quickly, non greasy, value for money Disadvantages: Stingy eyes
...Since their name change from Oil of Ulay to Oil of Olay, Oil of Olay now have a wide range of products to offer. These include: Special Care Range, Essential Care Range, Cleansing Range.
I use their Moisturising Fluid from their Complete Care range. This is because a) I don’t really need to be using any of the wrinkle creams, anti-ageing products which are all part of the Special Care Range. b) the other two products that make up the Complete Care ... ...have to tell anyone they do it, to keep their masculinity). We all need to look after our skin, especially with the good old British weather we encounter.

Advantages: Effective, High Quality, Value for Money Disadvantages: The name change
Oil of Ulay has been around forever. I remember seeing their basic hand and face creams on my mum's dressing table when I was a nipper. The stuff was always a lurid pink then and had a very strong smell, but to me it was glamour incarnate.
Except it's not Oil of Ulay now, it's Oil of Olay. Apparently this has always been its name on the continent, and they thought it was time to bring us in line.
It's not bright pink any more either, and it's not ... ...massive range of skincare products and make-up to suit every type of skin and colouring.
Now, I'm a Lancome girl through and through, but finding myself rather skint lately (the joys of buying and completely refurbishing a house), I decided it was time to economise and try something considerably less pricey.
What I bought was Olay 'Touch' sensory moisturising lotion and Olay facewash.
'Touch' moisturiser comes with or without sun-protection. I ...

Advantages: slinks its way into the skin quickly Disadvantages: a bit middle aged
Oil of Olay has always been my mothers moisturiser of choice, and so its black capped plastic bottle and gold and black logo are a very familiar sight to me, and seeing it on my bathroom shelf at uni makes me feel i have brought a little bit of home with me...(thats along with the cushions, photos, bedding and CD player :) ) I have very dry skin that gets parched and flaky if i dont moisturise regularly and after about four years of everything from ... ...frivolities such as moisturiser, but Oil of Olay is a true snip at just £3.99 for a nice big bottle of the stuff (200ml) that lasts for weeks. Advantages: It works, effective, smells nice. Disadvantages: Makes oily skin more oily.
I have been using this brand for almost a decade now, even my mother was using it when she was younger.
I think with a brand that has been around for so long - it really proves that whatever they're putting into that product really works and not just a case of good marketing.
i have tried everything from moisurisers to eyecreams and cleanser and have generally had no problems. Olay Complete Moisteriser: This has a combonation of vitamins and minerals ... ...really works. Having used it the same night I'd bought it I could see a better difference the next day. My complexion seemed more even, looked more radiant and also well moisturised. I had tried both the fluid and the cream, both are just as good, though I found it moisturised better and the results were better too - this may be due to the concentrations betwwen the two. Having said that, I found that they both made my skin oilier during the day. ...

Advantages: One of the Best Facial Washes Ever. Disadvantages: Quite expensive but well worth it.
Oil of Olay's Provital product range is one of the best ranges they have ever bought out. I have recently tried their Energising Face Wash which is specifically designed for the more mature skin. The face wash has a nice cream formula which foams up really well when put on the face, and removes make up and other residues really easy, leaving no trace of makeup especially hard to get off make up like mascara and eye liner. I was very impressed with ... ...some facial washes can dry out the skin, but this one works really well, must be the moisturisers that have been added. Although it says its for more mature skin I am only 26 years old, but I use it, and I think this would do quite well to keep the old wrinkles at bay. ...

Reviews which might be of interest for "Oil of Olay Oil of Olay"
Advantages: A silky smooth foundation which not only looks good but is good for the skin too. Disadvantages: The container top is a bit awkward and messy to use
Complete Radiance Liquid Foundation by Oil of Olay provides light, even coverage with SPF 15, Olay moisture and oil-absorbing powders. The complete Radiance range seems to be quite new and is currently (April 2001) on promotion and has £2 off the recommended price which I think is around £8. When I tried it out on the back of my hand I was amazed at how smoothly it went on and how silky it felt – so I bought some.
Under normal circumstances I rarely wear foundation because I have never found one which both looks and feels good on me – that is until now. For the first time I have found a foundation which gives me a smooth flawless complexion and actually does seem to generate a kind of radiance.
To be honest I haven’t a clue why or how it works so well. I checked on the Olay web site and although it is listed as ...
Advantages: not got a shiney face anymore Disadvantages: can be expensive , if paid full price
I actually bought this because it was a real bargain from my local TJ Hughes.
Anybody with one of those stores nearby, you must rush off and inspect the prices. they are really a lot cheaper than most stores i.e Boots. (Sorry Boots, I know you are having a hard time, but you really should cut your prices).
I was looking for a foundation which was a brand name but at a reasonable cost, I came across Oil of Olay foundation, well actually this one was called Oil of Ulay still. That's probably why it was so cheap, it was probably years out of date.
Well I paid my £2.99, gosh you might say what a bargain. It normally costs about £7 to £8 elsewhere.
I decided on the colour Gentle Beige, I only have very pale skin even when I've been abroad.
Some foundations make my skin look shiney , so I decided it could be my skin that was ...
Advantages: Instance effect + Long time effect Disadvantages: NOT UNTILL NOW, some people say price BUT it really worths
It was when my family noticed that my skin was damaged because i live in a hot country(egypt) so sun get my skin darker and dry.
So i decided to try a low price cream called (fair and lovely) but i didnt feel a significane change,
my skin was dry although the effect of darkness was not like first but any way my skin got so dry.
I decided to use OLAY as my aunt recommended it to me and i remembered the TV advertisment, first i thought it is somehow expensive (in our country) but after using it REALLY from the first moment it makes a difference.
So if you want :
1- moisture without irritation
2- Be younger than you look
3- May act as a foundation as your face get brighter
Now i have been using it for 3 years and my fiancee keeps telling me (YOUR FACE LOOKS LIKE A MOON) so i love it ;) ...
