Advantages get quality prints,all prints can be downloaded to disk, you get copy right if you buy full package
Disadvantages can be lenthly process,the actual posses are predictable.

My mother-law decided she wanted some family pictures taken so myself and son accompanied by his two cousins went along to an Olan mills studio.We thought it was going to be great getting such a well know photograhy company to make our children look angelic in pictures.The first shoot was a sucess the boys posed well and the photographer was very patient and kind with the kids.All in all we were pleased but when we got home and loaded up the photo disc, we found something that was'nt so pleasant.Nearly all the pictures were blurred when you looked closely,we had paid 125 pounds for the disc so we went back.We pointed out the errors to another member of staff who was very understanding and agreed with her we would have another fee shoot.Great i thought this time will be better, our second shoot was amazing they pulled out all the stops and the three boys had great fun messing around with the photography.We waited patiently for the prints to download and then 10 minutes later the girl came out appoligising they had lost the prints during tranfering from the camera.I was;nt to impressed they offered 25 pounds off and a third shoot,We took the shoot again ,pictures were'nt perfect but we managed to get some good ones from the whole experience.The studio was well managed and the waiting area was equipped with toys and magazines.It definately gives out a good impression but as they same never judge a book by its cover.This is now 5weeks from our last photo shoot and we are still awaiting the 25pounds refund for all our trouble as a good will gesture.We wont be using them ever again

You may be waiting a while for your refund - the company went into receivership as of last Thursday. Glad you managed to get a few photos out of them!
