HUSHABYE!

Advantages: Lovely book - gentle words and soft illustrations.
Disadvantages: Children may be slightly worried until they reach the end.

Some books are a joy to read and give pleasure to those who open their pages and peek inside. They take you into the world of the characters and transport you into other places, with other people. When you find a book like this you have to share and pass it on to others to experience the wonder you have found within the binding. Old Hushwing is one of these books. It is a truly beautiful children's picture book that would be a welcome addition to any child's collection. Written by Alan Brown and ably illustrated by Angelo Rinaldi, this is one of those favourite storytime books that is a popular choice among our customers in the library. THE PLOT The plot is simple, but if you don't want to know then please avoid this next paragraph! - It is the story of a young boy called Billy who lives in the countryside. Billy finds ...

Review of Old Hushwing - Alan Brown

Alan Who?

Advantages: It's different to most music!
Disadvantages: Not everyones cup of tea.

Alan Jackson is a folk and country singer from Georgia. His music is mainly diddley-dee and all weird guitars and country genres. This isn't really the sort of music that i would like but because my dad bought it i sort of got hooked. This sort of music is also associated with NASCAR in America. ~~Gone Country~~ This song is fairly upbeat, and its about Alan's girlfriend and about the story of how she 'went country' and went back to her roots. Alan also says in the song thats its his last chance which could indicate many reasons for that line... he wants to tell her he loves her? ~~Drive (For Daddy Gene) This song is rather annoying and slow in the verses but more lively in the chorus. Alan explains his experiences when his ''daddy'' let him drive. He describes the car in the song and what he can see when hes driving. ''It was ...

Review of Very Best Of Alan Jackson, The - Alan Jackson

Poor Show Peter Alan!

Advantages: Local to most people, NAEA Members
Disadvantages: Work for the buyer, not the seller

pull out you have to remarket the property' They huffed and puffed at us over this but they agreed and the buyers never pulled out. We then completed on our new house, whilst the sale of my house was going through. We moved out, informed Peter Alan the house was empty but to still ring before going into the house. They agreed. 3 weeks later our old neighbour phoned and said 'Oh have you completed on this house now then?', we said no as by this point we were nearing completion but had not yet got there, I asked her why she'd come to that conclusion and she told me there had been people in an out for the past 3 days and they appeared to have keys! I was fuming but I asked my old neighbour to turn super sleuth and she found out Peter Alan had given the buyers the keys to go an look around the house, the problem being was the buyers were ...
