with the rich texture of shea butter and kojic dipalmitate to fade discoloration. The skin on the hands is often neglected and therefore is one of the first places to show signs of aging.
sunscreenDeeply nourishing & cell proliferating creme with the rich texture of shea butterKojic dipalmitate helps to fade discolorationThe skin on the hands is often neglected & therefore is one of the first places to show signs of ageHow to use:Apply sparingly, due to concentrated formula, on dry hands, as necessary. Remember to reapply throughout the day, especially after washing hands. Use more generously as a night treatment.Key Ingredients:Cyclomethicone (A natural silicone with skin softening benefits), Kojic Dipalmitate (Mushroom Extract) (Fades discoloration, evens skin tone, prevents and corrects hyper pigmentation), Shea Butter (From the fruit of the African Karité Tree, emollient, soothing, penetrates and is non-greasy), Sugar Maple Extract (Stimulates cell renewal, retexturizing)
Advantages: Has an SPF 15 Disadvantages: too "down to earth"
...The weak spot in my otherwise water tight beauty routine is the moisturising of my hands. I know, I've been told before, hands are THE part of the body that are the first to show signs of aging. But the attraction to smear cream over them is just not strong enough. Massaging expensive creams into my face, that I love, and I can see the instant benefits of. But I just can't bring myself to regularly look after my hands in the same caring way.
One of the ways round this is to buy an expensive hand cream; then, I would feel I was doing something luxurious by using it. While I can't bring myself to spend £10.00 on a hand cream (the coveted Clarins one...), I did see this Neutrogena cream recently and spent nearly £4.00 on it in Boots.
What attracted me is the fact that it contains an SPF15 (magazines recommend you do not leave the house...

Advantages: contains sunscreens Disadvantages: Leaves a sticky resisdue on your skin
...I have to say I'v never written a negative review before but in all honesty I thought that the price I paid for this hand cream was extremely high!
The cream is infact non greasy i'l give it that but i found it too heavy to actually feel like it was nourishing my hands. i felt it left my skin sticky, generally i use hand cream on both my hands and feet but felt it was not suitable for either. It is a light lotion as it claims but i felt that it spread to thin and left a sticky residue on my skin.
It has a lovely frangrance to it, a bit like talc so smells very clean but comes out of the tube a bit gunkish! Its a sort of grey/white colour, quite thick.
I do like the fact that it is of an spf rating of 15! I find it hard to find a hand cream with a decent level of sun protection in it but it also claims an anti-oxident white tea...

Advantages: Price, smell, SPF 15, pretty packaging Disadvantages: A bit runny!
...I've been told by a beautician, that you should always look after your hands as they're one of the first body parts to show your age! Since I heard this, I've been a religious user of hand cream with an SPF. I was in Boots looking for a decent but reasonably priced hand cream, when I came across Boots Intensive Hand Cream with SPF15. It cost £2.99 for a 75ml tube and was on Buy One Get One Free at the time. But even if it isn't on offer, it's still good value.
Looks: The tube is opaque pink-tinted plastic tube and the lid is bubblegum pink and flips open to reveal a hole in the tube for dispensing the cream. On the front of the tube it says: Intensive Hand Cream, Helps Prevent The Visible Signs of Ageing, Contains Shea Butter and UV filters SPF15 in grey and The Boots logo at the top in pink. The cream itself is white and quite runny...
