It lets you connect a video driver to the video driver on your computer through the video driver or USB Heres the spec on it, im not really a technical person so Im not sure how this helps: 1 15 pin HD D- Sub (HD- 15) Male, 1 4 pin USB Type A Male 1 15 pin HD D- Sub (HD-15) Female So it does its job and makes everything a little easier, but my favourite part of this is the warranty: It has a lifetime warranty with service and support!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
