Olympus 8X25 WP I

Advantages: Image adjustments to give great view, waterproof, adjustable eye-relief
Disadvantages: fixed magnification, average build and design quality

. But with the use of the Bak-4 prism, the small size of the lens is deemed unimportant. All-in-all the Olympus 8X25 WP I binoculars are great for camping trips or for destinations with pleasant views. And with the range of features to make your viewing experience all the more easier as well as being waterproof, it can prove to be money well spent. Other binoculars, which are in the same price range are fairly similar but have the disadvantage of not being waterproof. There are also may better than this but have a price tag which exceeds over £200. It is stated that the Olympus 8X25 WP I binoculars are intended for professional use, but I like to think of them as all round use for everyday people. This is because for the range of features you are getting a good deal and also because Olympus provide a 25 year guarantee with all their ...

Review of Olympus 8X25 WP I

Olympus

Advantages: many
Disadvantages: None

This is a good quality product that offers good value for money in the very short term. Although as with most electronic products, the value will deteriorate over time and should be able to get a cheaper version next year. It's a great little device with plenty of features that I would highly recommend. This really is a wonderful piece of kit that should go well with many accessories because it really looks good. However, always think carefully as to whether you actually really need something before you buy it. We buy so many things nowadays that we don't really need. Other Features: 8.0 Megapixel CCD imager 3x optical (35 - 105mm 35mm equiv) zoom, 4x digital zoom Digital Image Stabilization and Built-in Help Guide TruePic TURBO Image Processor 2.5" color LCD and 10x playback zoom 16 shooting modes including AVI Motion ...

Review of Olympus FE-250

I Am A Flasher! (Only with my Olympus FE-230!)

Advantages: compact, lightweight, easy to use
Disadvantages: short video clips and battery life

a decent LCD frame of 2.5" although, as with all digital diplay screens, should you not be staring directly in front of the screen, you won't be able to anything but black, shiny shadows! The 3x optical zoom is nice and keeps the shot crisp even at the largest zoom - I guess this is good if you don't want your subject to know you are photographing them - but isn't that illegal? I love this when taking pictures of the firepit in full flame - no, that's not odd - hey you were the one who thought I was a flasher! I would enjoy the video feature if I were able to film longer footage, but with only 2 minutes of capture time per clip, your subject needs to be on their toes! It does produce nice images and crystal clear audio which is a plus and the built in anti shake feature is great if you tend to enjoy filming after a couple of stiff ones ...
