Having been an owner for 30 years of Olympus SLR Cameras including the OM10 and the OM2Spot(currently in my possession) I was attracted to the E10 Olympus Camera with its 4.3million pixels. My previous digital camera comprised 1.3 million pixels and produced quite good photos. The E10 has produced phenomenal photos of the Eden project here in Cornwall including a metre long panorama which has been sold to a local public house- framed and now on the restaurant wall. I have a superb A3 Epson print of Truro cathedral and a fantastic print of the Fowey Training School yacht in full sail. This camera though it cost £1249 from Jessops has given me the biggest pleasure I have ever received from photography. I have just been to a wedding and can claim to have outclassed the professional photographer- I could check my photos as I went! I also purchased the P400 Olympus printer (A4 dye sublimation) at £800 but have found the 2000P from Epson great for A3 prints. If I could print A2 I am sure this wonderful Olympus camera would cope easily. Have no fear when purchasing the E10 it is just fantastic!

It's a different world... my camera cost £50 and that was a bit extravagant! INteresting stuff, though it would have benefited from paragraph spacing.

Welcome to Ciao. The E-10 certainly has a superb spec. Some of the other feedback I've read on the E-10 suggests that it's heavy on batteries - how have you found it? I am interested myself but have been put off by a cryptic remark in their spec that they "don't recommend" use of the IBM Microdrive instead of Compact Flash - I wonder if this is to do with battery life, since the Microdrive presumably has an electric motor in it somewhere. I'm using a tiny Casio QV-3 with Microdrive at the moment (245 shots at 3.34 megapixels), and this seems to use up the battery faster than I'd like.
Advantages: 4-megapixel matrix, looks solid, convenient modification of focal length, universality, much features Disadvantages: IBM Microdrive not supported, some stripes on LCD screen
