I chose this camera initially because of the weight. I looked around at different cameras in the below £150 section on a nuber of websites, paying particular attention to John Lewis (one of my favourite stores), and this one was simply the lightest. I ventured further in my research before deciding to definitely purchase, however, only to discover that everything else the camera offered ticked my boxes too! Great camera, great features and at a great price. I bought this camera from amazon at £93.90 delivered with a free case (worth £9.99). The first thing about this camera is the size - its so small (think its 16.5mm to be exact) and easily fits in any pocket, bag etc. The next thing you notice is the screen - its 2.5 inch which is quite big for a camera this small, and in my opinion the bigger the screen the better for taking pictures. This is a great little camera. I bought it from Argos for £130, a little overpriced compared to the price of Amazon however i needed it on very short notice and i was not dissapointed. The camera uses the xd memory card which isn't quite as cheap as the sd card range but nevertheless very much worth the money. The battery life on the camera is good and can generally take around 200 to 300 images before it needs recharging. i must admit that what first attracted me to this camera was its look and its price. its reasonably cheap and it looked so cute as well as being quite slim! from my perspective anyway! but when i started using it properly, i found all the cool functions it had. as well as being a 7.1megapixel camera, the 2.5" screen is big enough so that the pictures are displayed clearly. it has a 3x zoom so that any closeups could be taken and cos of the high resolution, closeups dont look all pixelly! there also came loads of preset functions, such as underwater, behind glass and candle modes. some of these ... more
