2 weeks ago i bought the Olympus FE-3010 because of it is very cheap considering advanced features.
1.)Physical Appearance It has 2.7-inch LCD screen Super-slim (0.7-inch thick) metal body compatible with xD Picture Cards and microSD memory cards. The appearance is nice and comes in three colors: pink, black and silver. I own the pink one. the only problem i have with the apperance is the big "fe" written in the lower left corner of the camera.
2.) 12-megapixel resolution: This digital camera gives poster-sized superb quality photos which i personally appreciate. When I transferred the pictures in my computer it is very beautiful you can see all details in the photograph specially when you set the shoot mode to full 12 megapixel resolution and fine shots.
3.) 3x optical zoom: I was hoping for 5x optical zoom but for the price the 3x optical zoom was pretty much okay. When you try taking pictures with zoom the pictures becomes low in quality and becomes pixilated.
4.) Advanced Face Detection: There is no problem with the face detection it detects even small faces in the background just like other expensive cameras. I just hope it has smile detection.
5.) Intelligent Auto and Pre-set Shooting modes The intelligent auto is by far my favorite feature of this camera it's very amusing how it automatically adjust the lighting condition even in the darkest room setting without the need to adjust anything. It also has 14 preset scenes which includes: Self portrait, sunset, fireworks, cuisine, documents, underwater wide 1 and 2, underwater macro, portrait, landscape, night scene, night portrait, sport, indoor and candle. The underwater macro is my favorite. And the cons for the preset scenes is that when you take pictures using sport mode it should be in a very bright field or else it pixilates. Also the candle mode has a problem your hand should be super steady because even the slightest movement blurs the picture.
6.) Shake Proof Function It has a feature that allows you to take pictures even when you are moving but i noticed the quality lessens when you use this feature.
Other Con i observed with the camera is that it takes so much time to load when you take a picture so you should be steady to avoid blurs.
