    Advantages Advantages Lasts a bit Longer, Single unit replaces two AA batteries

    This battery pack is produced by Olympus to fit its Camedia compact camera range. It replaces two standard non-rechargable AA lithium batteries and is claimed to last 2-3 times longer. At between £5 and £9 from most suppliers this is an expensive alternative to two batteries that can cost as little as £1 for a pair. This is especially true when you consider it isn't rechargable and doesn't last as long as is claimed (I got about 1.75x). Less if you use the flash a lot. Having tried this battery out, I can frankly only recommend it to those people with deep pockets who don't like carrying a lot ... more
