The Fujifilm XDPictureCard (128mb) is a very small (aprox 1.5cm) Memory card used in most Fujifilm cameras.
It was developed jointly between Fujifilm and Olympus to create the worlds smallest and very fast memory card, which Fuji dropped into their camera's to promote them.
The XDpicturecards have had an update in recent months where they got even faster, and can be distinguished from the older models by their blue writing (there are 2 versions of XDcard, normal and fast) the older card is black with gold writing.
The card i bought (128mb) holds enough for small cameras (1-3mpx) but anything over that its a struggle to squeeze all your images onto it, i get on average 30-50 images before i have to dump my memory onto a hard drive (at 6mpx).

These 256 mbXD memory cards are made by Fujifilm are the latest in a line of good storage ideas for solid state information.
Apparently the name comes from "eXtreme Digital"
The price is very realistic at £9.99 each from various sites, plus delivery of course. I have just found some at £9.65 INCLUDING delivery, and a five year guarantee.

picturecard: Type H 512MB prior to my US trip in July. The difference between with this and the former standard cards is that type H (high speed) offers a higher data rates and 3 times faster. The card can store up to 523 photos and 18:30 minutes of video recording. Other basic features includes: dimension - 20mmX25mmX1.78mm; weight - 2.8 grams (comparable to a 10-pence coin); writing speed - 9 MB/s; operating voltage - 3V; and read speed - 15 MB/s.
