Advantages: Waterproof, good features Disadvantages: Pictures sometimes grainy in a dark enviroment
As a keen kayaker this camera was just what I needed, I can take it paddleing without haveing to worry at all about it getting wet. I have also taken it sailing in the atlantic without any problem at all.
The camera itself works well and gives good quality pictures when there is good light however they sometimes appear grainy in poor light. The panorama function was slightly disapointing as it is just a series of lines on the screen and doesnt help ... ...The abillity to edit pictures on the camera is great and ranges from sepia and monotone to calendars. It also includes functions for a slideshow and a calendar where by you can view all the pictures taken on a specific date.
Battery life is good but I would reccomend a spare battery.
All in all if you want to take great pictures where you might risk dropping the camera or getting it wet then this is a top camera for the job.
