The camera does have alot of features, such as the different modes to take a picture, e.g. indoors, through a window and landscape etc. Also the fact that it is 7.1 mega pixals. It is also a slim camera. However, on the downside I dont think that the picture quality is that good, and if you want to take a picture quickly this is difficult.

Quick review of Olympus µ[MJU:] DIGITAL 720SW
Not happy!
This is the second MJU 720SW I have had; the first failed in water and was replaced by Olympus (their customer service is very good indeed). This unit also failed in water and ruined my memory card taking over 200 holiday pics with it!!
I'm also not thrilled with the picture quality, despite the 20 or so settings images are just not sharp enough.
I'm sending it back to Olympus and will be asking for an upgraded replacement; one that wont be going anywhere near water. ...

Advantages: Tough, compact, big display, waterproof, shockproof Disadvantages: LCD is prone to scratching; images can be blurred without a steady hand!
I took my MJU 720 to Africa with me on an overland trip. The two main qualities which attracted me was having it be indestructable; and that I could take it underwater with me.
It has been a good buy overall but there are certainly a few things which I would have liked to be aware of before I bought:
Cons: As with most new digitals the included memory is just a token - you will need to get a bigger memory chip at cost.
If you are planning to get ... ...mean get some kind of case - the LCD screen can scratch and there is no way to fix it without sending back to manufacturer to replace it (as far as I could find).
The picture quality is great but I found that if you didn't hold steady through the shot alot of images came out blurred when using the flash.
It lives up to it's indestructable reputation - I have dropped it, squashed it, submerged it, and feel (almost) comfortable throwing it to other ...
