Omega Gents Seamaster Watch

I Bought the Omega Seamaster a few years ago in one of those 'spur of the moment' kinda things and I've never looked back since. I actually have the version used in the James Bond film Goldeneye, (which is probably the main reason why I spent so much money on a watch.) it's sleek look, and magnificent craftsmanship is one of the reasons why, after such a long time of owning it, I can still look at it there on my wrist and smile. I have the Seamaster GMT that tells the time in another time zone. This works fine, problem isthat the watch seems to be losing around 2 minutes a week. This is outside COSC standards and when compared to my cheaper Seamaster Quartz, seems hopeless. I now realised that I should've been contented with my seamaster quartz which has given me no problems for 6 years, it still keeps time perfectly. I see that it's eventually cheaper to service the watch by sending it to Omega in Switzerland. Their published service fee on their website is CHF340.00 (GBP 140) compared to GBP230 at Goldsmiths.
