God I Love This Machine

Advantages: Sounds Great & Looks To die For.
Disadvantages: Can't select song to wake to.

I've had this for two and a half years and although it has come down in price since i purchased it i would still pay what i paid originally for it. it looks beatiful in my bedroom and the sound it pumps out is fantastic. it can play dance music nice and load with lots of bass, or it can play classical music to perfection. the hi-fi has brilliant 3 way speakers wich truly let you feel the music. it can play copied cds however it does have trouble reading some. it can also be layed out in a number of ways due to the four piece system. i.e it can all be stacked in one or side by side. the optical conection is also handy for connecting equipment. one draw back is the lack of expansion ports for minidisk etc. ...

Worth its weight in Gold

! *~*~* The Specifications *~*~* *The specifications include a 3 CD disc changer which was a must when considering buying a system. *Twin cassettes so I can record from one tape to another *Digital radio with RDS (which tells the stations name and PLT (gives additional info such as the phone numbers etc which is handy for phone in competitions) *3-way speakers are 100 watts each! which are very powerful! The midi also includes a specification, which is called BBE, which increases the quality of the sound especially on tapes! You won’t believe the difference this makes to the sound of the CD tape etc. I still can't get over the sound quality that is given out of this baby! I only wish I had a portable version! It also includes a remote with sleep and timer and programmable presets and so on. The GEQ can be to 5 settings consisting ...

Tannoy takes centre stage.

Advantages: Great price Vs performance, compact, good sound.
Disadvantages: Very minor "boxiness" in mid range.

, probably a bit of a hump at around 800Hz, if my gut feel is anything to go by (that and 22 years in the industry)...... The Tannoy MxC is a small, compact 3 way speaker unit, with two main drivers and a central tweeter. My model has a light Maple wood finish, but it comes in other colour schemes to suit your furnishings. The speaker is intended to sit either on top of your TV, or, in my case, underneath it. It is a good idea to have the TV sit on top of the speaker if possible, as this will anchor the speaker cabinet solidly in place so the cones can move freely against the cabinet, and not cause any phase errors or other distorions. Its the same priciple as spike mounting the main speakers onto the floor (see my EVO3 review for more info).
