The loud, tacky adverts were what first attracted me to One Tel. They literally shouted out their cheap rates, I'm glad they did.
I joined on line, very easy to do, within a couple of days my account was set up and ready to go. They set you a monthly spending limit and all calls are paid for by credit card. I don't use it that often but always find the bills to be very accurate, usually get one every couple of months.
The customer service is excellant, operators always seem happy and glad to take your call. Even get a few courtesy calls to check that everything is okay with their service - NTL / BT could learn a lot from them.
The call rates are very good, phone Holland for 7p a minute, NTL charge 20p ! Also cheap to phone mobiles at 11p a minute, they publish their rates on the website + theres a list on your bill so you won't find any suprises.
