I joined match.com in the hope of finding that special someone, however ended with the special someone being the bank statement from hell with match.com equalling £71 due to the in your favour auto-rebilling cycle. Despite having 5 emails and 10 winks from potential matches within the first 30 minutes of opening the account, none of the people I emailed actually seemed to exist or their accounts became 'inactive' after trying to contact them. I've since closed my account, but as they don't want you to do this, they insist on keeping your details on file for a year!
