Snapfish - Great FREE online digital photograph storage.
Advantages: Free, 20 free prints when you join. Disadvantages: None really!
I have recently started using Snapfish as a place to store my photographs as recently when the laptop I use went wrong I lost some really important photograhs to me and luckily I'd already uploaded some of them to receive my free 20 prints when you join Snapfish (you pay 99p postage for them).
You upload your photographs to Snapfish and then select which prints you would like to receive free (new members only). I paid the 99p postage via credit ... ...just 9p each after your initial free 20 have been used up.
Snapfish also do personalised gifts which is great with Christmas coming up! They sell Christmas Cards, Calendars, Photo Books, Mugs, Posters, Stationery, Collage Gifts, Mousemats, Clothing, Canvas & Acrylics, Gift Certificates and items such as Jigsaw Puzzles (Great for a young relative or perhaps your Great Aunt!!)
I find that the prices are very competitive as you have the likes of Asda ...

Most Excellent Photo Company
Advantages: Very good quality, personal service Disadvantages: Takes about a week, expensive
I have spent years sending off my films and more recently digital pictures to mail order and online photo developing and printing companies. I've always had ok results and the occasional lost film but the expectation when the prints arrive is always higher than it should be. Last week I saw a small listing on Google for the Most Excellent photo company, their website is good and they promise to print my photos better than ever. They guarantee results ... ...As soon as they arrived they called me to talk through what I wanted and a week later my photos were sent back. The were absolutely fantastic, they cost a lot more than, in fact about twice the price, but all my prints were fixed up and beautifully printed. In these days of looking for bargains and cheap deals everywhere sometimes it's worth paying a little bit more for quality. ...

Photo printing that's out of the box.
Advantages: Competitively priced. Good quality prints. Disadvantages: I need to improve my picture taking abilities.
...nostalgic reasons. I came across photobox.co.uk whilst looking for a site online to store and get my pictures developed. The site has a clean and tidy look to it, and the homepage has always got special offers and deals, with links to all the different areas on the site making it easy to use. Upon signing up, you get 40 free standard 6" x 4" prints. Which I was very pleased with. They arrived very quickly and I had only paid the small postage charge ... ...referring friends, once they have made their first purchase you are then given credits to get your free prints. Since becoming a member I get an email occasionally with promotional codes and any deals they are running. Signing up is very easy and it is completely free, all you need to do is fill in the usual data questions and you are ready to go, once you have signed up and your account is activated, you can start to upload your pictures which is ...

Bonus Print - Good website, atrocious service
Advantages: Web site is good Disadvantages: They take your money, but don't send what you've ordered on time
I wish i'd read other people's comments before I uploaded my photos.
Another case of Royal Mail being used as the excuse - this time "Addressee has gone away" was what BonusPrint are claiming Royal Mail said. The delivery address is my office in central London which is open 24/7 365, and I have items delivered when i'm not there on a weekly basis by Royal Mail so it's clearly a lie.
2-7 working days is what was promised - it's now over 3 weeks ... ...left in my mouth. My Father-in-law's birthday present - some framed photos of his grand children - is now late becuase of this appauliing turnaround time.
I will never use BonusPrint again and have emailed everybody I know to warn them against using this company.
Look at the "Amazing Service" reviews - ridiculous and so obviously written by employees.
I used to use Bonus Print for normal film developing back in the day and never had a problem. ...

Foto.com - terrible customer service
Advantages: None Disadvantages: They have a Customer Service e-mail address - but they don't respond!
Really bad customer service from foto.com. It's an ok site to use and most of the photos I've had from them are fine, but if anything goes wrong you're on your own so it's probably not worth the potential hassle. I e-mailed them on 02/01/09 (no reply),10/01/09 (no reply), 23/01/09 - they replied on 26/01/09 wanting me to take a photo of the photo they'd sent me (?!) which I did on the same day. I then e-mailed again on 30/01/09 to remind them to ...
