Over all I have never had a problem with RBS Digital, and being able to check my finances online daily can manage the account a lot more effectively
Advantages: Geared at 12-17 age group, ATM access, 7% interest rate, just £1 needed to open account, Internet banking facility Disadvantages: None!
After searching long and hard, I have finally found a bank which can provide an outstanding account for those of us in the 12-17 age group. Nationwide offers the Smart Account, which provides teenagers with ATM access, Internet banking and an incredible 7% (at time of writing) interest rate. More features could be added and hopefully in the near future, it will be easy to change address of contact, easier to change your overdraft settings and the like. I am so far very pleased with Barclays.com for now, but am expecting more. ...
Advantages: Internet operated, good rates Disadvantages: site can be slow to load
meant that there was a delay of a few days while I sent off utility bills to confirm our new address. Since the account has been up and running we have moved twice more, and each time the details have been swiftly updated with no hassle - if only all banks were as efficient!
The site is totally secure, and has extra facilities that not all on-linefinance sites offer, such as the ability to send totally secure emails to bank staff. We have always had prompt responses to enquiries. The statements are clear and transactions appear on online statements very soon after they are made.
The ISA account is instant access, and you can have your money transferred into your current account. However, it is worth remembering that if you take money out of an ISA that you can't ever pay in more than the limit for the year. For example, if you put ...
