photobox.co.uk

Advantages: An excellent service
Disadvantages: Costs a small amount of money

...guess!! But in all seriousness, photobox.co.uk doesn't just print your photos, in can provide all sorts of options for them. The website is very user-friendly to navigate, with an obvious index running down the left hand side of the page, and on the homepage, big adverts encouraging you to sign up. Once you do sign up, you advantage is that previous photos you've uploaded, regardless of what you've had done to them, stay stored in your user space, ...
...time uploading them again, or if you happen to lose the digital version. After the first batch of free ones, photos can cost as little as 5p - 10p for sizes 5"x3.75" to 6"x4.5" depending on how large an order you make...there is the slight increase in shipping costs, but at £2.49 for 20 - 49 prints, it's not too bad. You can even order over 50 posters and expect to pay no more than £6.99 in postage. You can request your prints in either matt or gloss, ...

Snapfish customer service leave a lot to be desired

Advantages: Product is ok
Disadvantages: Customer service is poor

I've ordered from Snapfish in the past and never had a problem but this time the item failed to arrive. I ordered a photobook - they're not the best quality but reasonable price in my opinion. I contacted Snapfish customer service via email but was extremely disappointed with their reply - wait 2 weeks and see if it shows up. There was no attempt to trace the parcel and they weren't willing to despatch another one. There are many on-line businesse ...
...it be to trace a parcel or send a replacement out to a customer. The most annoying thing was that I had ordered the photobook in plenty of time for my wife's birthday but that date was over a week ago and I'm still waiting. Two weeks has past, no parcel, no contact from customer service. Looks like I'll be chasing a refund next. I won't be using them again. ...

Great Photos

Advantages: No Software to download, Accept Solo Debit Card
Disadvantages: None Really

I visited Fotango.com because I had seen there website once before. I had got a digital camera for Christmas and so I decided to try out there photo printing. I uploaded the photos from my digital camera to the website and then filled in my details. It was then sent off and a few days later I received them in the post. There was no software to download and my first set of photos was free. I only had to pay for the postage and packaging and that came ...
...accepted my Solo debit card and I was very pleased with the photos that I received. I was really good for the price and I would even use it at the normal price, which is also very good. The photos are usually not bad prices, here are some: Poster 30 X 20 - £9.99 4 X 6 Glossy Print - £0.49 5 X 7 Glossy Print - £0.99 With up to 50% discount depending on how many you order. You can also get gifts, which they can print your photos onto. For example ...

Xdrive

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: They take your money and give no disk space

We signed up and paid over $100 for a year's subscription in December 2005 since when we have had no disk space available in spite of having no files on the drive. That means more than half of our money has been wasted. Numerous emails to the support team have been ignored. I notice that the support forums have now been taken down, allegedly for maintenance, presumably because there has been so much bad comment posted. The idea is that, for your ...
...as additional security as a result of the Hemel Hempstead fire last year. We have an off-site backup routine but wanted extra disaster cover. Xdrive was recommended by several of the online computer magazines. I understand that Xdrive is now owned by AOL. If so, they should be ashamed of their investment. ...

Great site for sharing your photos

Advantages: Free or relatively cheap, full of features
Disadvantages: Too many photos, misleading TAGS

When I first hear about Flickr I thought “Oh my God ... another social networking website” and felt sceptic about it, however I decided to give it a go so I registered with Flickr free account. The standard account allows you to upload 100 MB of free photos in a month. This is not a lot considering high resolutions of cameras nowadays. You can upgrade your account for about £15 which gives you freedom in terms of uploading the pictures. Flickr has ...
...Your pics can be easily organised into collections, sets, and described with tags. Advanced privacy options allows you to share photos for example only with other Flicker friends or others like family members who can see your private photos with use of Guest Pass (no registration needed). Slide-show feature makes watching collections more pleasant. I would recommend Flickr to someone who would like to share photos with their friends, family in easy ...
