...if you don’t want to have headache, and if you want to be sure that you will have customer assistance in case of any problems with reservation, it is better to choose alternative booking systems. My own opinion is that opodo.co.uk now in my own black list of booking sites. ...

If you don't mind being messed around...GR8 for a cheap holiday!
Advantages: good, cheap and easy Disadvantages: bad customer service
About September time me and my friends decided we would embark on our first holiday together as just the girlies... We were all looking forward to it immensly but beofre we had even got there we had been messed about twice.
Although I can't really complain each time they changed our hotel we got an upgrade, I mean we paid for a 2 * and got a 3 *, but we were still out of the way from all the clubs and the beach and it was a fair walk if you didn't ... ...it on the chin and when we got there we were dropped off in the middle of nowhere not knowing where to go...Literally not knowing where to go and at the age of 18 it was quite daunting. We ended up asking for a taxi number from one of the hotels colsest to us and realised we were a fifteen minute walk from our hotel with all our luggage in a country we didn't know the languague...
Once at the hotel the apartment was perfect (for what we had paid), ...

Sykes cottages 'Don't care attitude' Again!
Advantages: None Disadvantages: Incomplete and misleading information
...the two previous reviews on Sykes Cottages and have to agree with the general view that once they have the booking they are not interested in any complaint and just pass on responsibility to the owner. In our case we booked a week in a cottage in November and have two complaints arising from inadequate description or misleading information. 1 There was a winding, narrow stairway with no handrail, and none of this was stated in the brochure. In our ... ...was seldom within 1 min. Sykes Cottages' response in the case of 1. was that we should have told them beforehand if anyone had a specific difficulty! In the case of 2. they said that it was “down to personal interpretation” and should have been clarified at the time of booking! How much are we expected to ask? I complained to Sykes immediately we returned home but they were not at all helpful and it was our fault because we didn't ask the necessary ...

Advantages: Good in principle Disadvantages: Not good in reality
Sunterra sounds great. The principle is great. You are told that in 2054, when the club is wound up, that you families will own land all over the world. The reps are told to tell you this because is 2054 they will not be here to answer the questions of why things did not happen the way you were told they would.
You will here many stories of people would bought more points an got their dreams fulfilled. They call these "third party" stories. Stories ... ...sound true.
The reps are told not to think of any spare cash of yours as belonging to them. They need your money for their commission. ifthey do not perform, they are out of a job as they do not receive a salary.
I joined Sunterra as a rep and I went on to work on to work for other timeshare companies and my view is that they are all the same. ...

great online firm for cheap holidays
Advantages: quick and easy online site Disadvantages: a long time to wait on phone to book holiday
we went to gran canaria through this company.our stay was excellent.the rep was there when we needed her.from the time we got to the airport everything was done for us.on the plane they were very helpful with everything and even when we got to our destantion every thing run very smoothly,from the airport to our hotel we didn't have any trouble..everything the company said they were going to do they did.excellent firm.this company is a cheap and friendly ...
