Advantages: Excellent value for money, great comfort on buses operated, good staff
Disadvantages: Delays, bus stop in Birmingham is in the middle of nowhere

Megabus is the company who are ever increasing with their services thanks to the offer of exceptionally cheap travel to a variety of uk destinations. So what is all the fuss about? I have used Megabus on a couple of occassions now with one trip to Aberdeen from Glasgow and one from Glasgow to Birmingham (Aberdeen trip with a return journey also). I found the prices being paid for both trips to be exceptional and when compared to other bus companies ...
...but decided I would never know unless I gave them a shot. The buses both left from Glasgow Buchanan Bus Station and were excellent buses with the quality on offer of a similar standard to other companies charging a lot more money for the same journey. Advantages: Great website, easy to use, good layout, lots of offers available.
Disadvantages: None

lastminute.com enables people to book last minute deals on a range of products and services to hopefully find the best deal possible. However, it can also be used to book weeks or months in advance and has quite good deals on these offers too. They offer car hire, hotels, holidays, flights, spa days, theatre tickets, gift ideas etc. The website is very easy to use and each service/product provided has it own section on the website and you can use ...

Booking made easy

Advantages: It's all so straightforward.
Disadvantages: Too much emphasis on Easyjet.

Booked something and got something else!

Advantages: you can see what hotels are around the vacinity!
Disadvantages: you dont get what you've asked for!

Well.........After spending a week on deciding to take a trip down to birmingham with some family members who havent been, I decided to check laterooms.co.uk to see if I could get a cheap hotel deal..... I saw that the britannia hotel had a good rate on so decided to take up on that offer. I have stayed in the britannia in manchester and thought it was ok so based on that i decided to book. I booked this hotel room on the 3rd and reserved a double ...

Normally when you book a hotel, they dont take payment until you get there and then check out after your stay but to my shock i checked my statement 2 days later and saw that the money had come out. I thought to myself oh well at least its paid for and i know what im getting. On the evening of the 15/10/09 i got to Birmingham, i found it quite difficult to find and the fact that you can only park in the pallasades car park and drag your luggage ...

canadian affair - terrible dont book with them

Disadvantages: poor customer service, shabby airline, dirty, poor onboard staff

i aksed when booking whether their premier economy was a genuine premier economy and was assured it was After arriving in Canada I called their customer service and explained their service was not comparible with other major airlines and that I was misrepresented to. This was escalated to their customer services manager Aisla who was the rudest person I have ever had the displeasure of speaking to To top it off they changed the flight on the return ...
