Operation Flashpoint 2 is a game about strategy, tactics AND manouverability... How you fight the war, is your decision; the game is absolutely HUGE! And requires you to have either a very good attention span, or an addiction to games wish lots of amazing features...

This game blows away ANY FPS game you've played, EVER! Well, ok, fine... Maybe not all of them, but most of them...

And finally Operation Flashpoint 2's Game engine reminds me very much of the Red Orchestra engine, released on PC a few years back, which wasn't such a bad game! But thats another review anyway...

Ive gone into as much detail as I possibly can whilst remembering as much as I can off the top of my head... However, I hope you enjoyed the review... And, I hope it helps you come to a decision which makes you feel good!

As you know, I play a LOT of First Person Shooters... But, however, NOT like this!

Operation Flashpoint 2 is a game about strategy, tactics AND manouverability... How you fight the war, is your decision; the game is absolutely HUGE! And requires you to have either a very good attention span, or an addiction to games wish lots of amazing features...

This game blows away ANY FPS game you've played, EVER! Well, ok, fine... Maybe not all of them, but most of them...

Graphics overally are amazing, astounding, groundbreaking and purely; look so realistic, that it feels like a real war right in the comfort of your own home! Or, just to put it simply, at your fingertips!

Weapons are simply... Amazing, from small arms, to heavy anti-aircraft weapons, you can fire your weapon at almost... anything, to be honest... RPG's right through to M249 machine guns... The game, is absolutely kitted out, as is in a real modern day war! and not just that, but the vehicles too... Ever wanted to fly a proper-chopper in a game? Well, now you can, use it to get to your favorite part of the island, or just scan the skies for foreign objects, enemies or... just kamikaze things... (occasionally I do that, seemed fun at the time) but, believe me, you can do oh so much more!

The Gameplay is also amazing, it doesn't matter where you go, hide, run or seek! you will always come accross enemies, and without having to think, you automatically react to your surroundings, areas and battlefields! It doesn't matter if you are new to gaming or an expert FPS player, As long as you Enjoy FPS games, this game will successfully put a smile on your face.. Of Course, in a wierd but awesome way...

Online, is just... Purely, amazing! It doesn't matter if you like war games, or just simply love running around line a lunartic looking for something to do, there is ALWAYS something to do... Heck, Even the distance fighting sounds are awesome!

The way the game puts you in command is very good too! I use 3 main commands, possibly less depending on what I am doing in the game... But, these consist of Move, Follow Me and Orders!

Let me explain, in detail what each order commits to your squad or troops! Now, Move is pretty simple to guess, you just aim, and press the MOVE command, and hey presto your team moves to that location you're looking at... Follow Me, is also a useful command, if youre under heavy fire and are requiring a LOT of assistance, Call in your team to re-group to your location, and sure enough, sit back and watch the firefight begin! But don't leave it too long or your team mates can become overwhelmed... And finally, the ORDERS command, this is a little different to other games, as this yet opens another menu, which tells your team to either go on the Offense, Defense, Fire and Movement... But I won't explain this further, as the review will continue forever! I'm sure Ive left something out, but, sadly im not near the PS3 right now, so I can't check the remaining thing...

The game itself, is amazing, so good! Yet so simple to play! Its not too difficult, its not too hard! As with most of the games I play, I Don't use sound, so, I haven't really paid too much attention to detail of sound, but as what I have heard of it already, it sounds absolutely amazing... Like the sounds have been carved by the very hands of, well.. I can't say the name here! but you can figure it out...

the AI is very capable of looking after itself too! Although, sometimes you do wish you could stand next to them and give them a slap in the right direction... They just seem to ponder around for a while before engaging a target, but... Not a problem, there could be hundreds of enemies near by... The more the merrier... Right?

Well, finally... Everything else... In a nutshell, grenades are fun! Much useful when in close, and distant combat fighting, doesn't matter HOW far you are from a grenade, it will always have an effect on your enemy! My most favorite thing is, the sound-distance... When you throw a grenade, you see the explosion from it before you hear the sound... The further you are, the quieter and longer the sound takes to reach you... Very much like a firework!
