Opi Nail Varnish (Atomic Orange)

Advantages: Bold colour,only needs one coat,easy to apply
Disadvantages: Quite expensive, hard to find in shops

I decided to buy this nail varnish after having a disaster on holiday where I dropped my full bottle of Jessica coral nail varnish on the villa floor spilling the entire contents over my leg and the floor! : ( I liked the Jessica colour but I wanted something more orange?after searching the whole Jessica range and not finding anything I tried the Opi nail varnishes and found the 'Atomic Orange' colour, which looked bright orange! I wouldn't have had the next idea about where to find Opi nail varnishes, other than beauty salons which was where I had first noticed the brand. So rather than buying off the official site I tried ebay and found the right colour on there for £6 inc postage, which seemed a lot cheaper that anywhere else. Advantages: Great choice of colours
Disadvantages: Not sold in many shops

another strip on either side. The varnish gives a lovely gloss, but I apply base coat and top coat too, which may alter the look. I apply two coats for the look that I prefer. Although it's not stated on the bottles, OPI varnishes do come in different finishes. Some are normal (glossy), some are pearly, some are shimmery etc. It's probably best to test them in a shop before buying, to make sure that you like the finish of the colour that you like. OPI polishes are long lasting compared to a lot of other nail varnishes that I have tried. Most varnishes chip on me within a day (what can I say, I'm quite active!), but this can last between 2-3 (no option for this!) days on me without chipping. Of course, using a top coat helps it to last longer, and some top coats are better than others, which is another factor to consider. This is not my ...

Review of OPI Nail Varnish

OPI for Nail Biters, it works!

Advantages: Strengthens & nourishs nails.
Disadvantages: Could do with a wider brush

As a confirmed nail biter for the last 36 years, i finally decided to do something about my knarled stumps. After watching a QVC presentation on this product range, i bought first of all the OPI cuticle oil & nail replenisher, just put a few drops on each nail and massage in. I did this every time i would normally bite my nails, and hey presto my nails started to look healthy with less ridges, my cuticles were healthy and not ragged. As i had been biting my nails for so long they were very soft and brittle, so i then went for the OPI nail envy product. Just apply 2 coats on the first day and one coat on every 2nd day after that for one week.
