Just to let you know I am writing this review on Belgian Choc. ...first time I heared about options hot-chocolate was when I first saw the advert and thought well if she would choice hot-chocolate over 3 hunks, it has to be good.
So as I was shopping in Asda, I thought I would give them a whirl.

I have always been a fan of hot-chocolate in the winter, after having a nice hot bath, put my wollie p.j's on and curling up on the sofa with a nice hot mug of hot-chocolate. The first time I heared about options hot-chocolate was when I first saw the advert and thought well if she would choice hot-chocolate over 3 hunks, it has to be good. So as I was shopping in Asda, I thought I would give them a whirl.

Options is a range of delicious instant hot chocolate that come in a variety of flavours, which you can enjoy anytime of the day. HOW DO YOU MAKE THEM UP ? ************************************ This is soooooooooooooooo easy.
1~ Boil water, let it cool slightly 2~Put 3 teaspoons of options hot-chocolate in a mug. 3~Fill with hot water and stir well.
Told you it was easy. I have sometimes just have mine made up with milk.
TASTE ******** As soon as you take the first mouthful, you can taste the rich taste of belgian chocolate on you lips. As you have it in your mouth, your body warms up and your have a sweet taste in your mouth, as you swallow the hot- chocolate, your throat becomes warm and you can feel the warmth going though your body.
CHOCOLATE !, CAN'T HAVE THAT AM ON A DIET ****************************************************** No matter what, chocolate is no good for you while you are on a diet, everybody know's that but not with Options hot- chocolate, it's only 40 calories per drink. Options hot-chocolate can help slimming or weight control but only as part of a calorie controlled diet. So you can enjoy the taste of chocolate without paying the price...............brilliant.
OPTIONS FLAVOURS ************************ Other than Belgian choc, there are other flavours to choice from: ~ Mint madness ~Outrageous Orange ~Indulgent Irish cream ~Turkish delight ~Tempting Toffee
SMELL & TEXTURE ********************** Before I make the drink.................... The smell of belgian choc is a light chocolate smell, you can smell it's powder if you know what I mean. Belgian choc is a really fine and light powder, a light brown colour with little white bits in it.
After I make the drink....................... The smell is a rich chocolate smell, you can smell it's belgian chocolate, It's not to watery like other hot-chocolate drinks I have tried before.
HOW DO I DRINK MINE ************************** After I have maded my hot-chocolate, I chop up some marshmallows and place them on top of the hot-chocolate, I then take a trip to the fridge and take out a chocolate bar and great a small bit of chocolate on top MMmmmmmm, then curl up on the sofa and drink my hot-chocolate though the marshmallows.
COST & WHERE TO BUY THEM FROM ******************************************* You can buy them in............ ~20 gram sachets~ 44p ~A box of twelve sachets( variety)~£1.99 ~A jar ~ £1.39 You can buy them from any supermarket.
HOW TO IDENTIFY OPTIONS ********************************
The jar is quite small and very light ,made of plastic, there is a big O in the centre and around the O it has chocolate coming out of it. The lid is a brown colour and has Belgian choc under the O.
OVERALL *********** Options belgian choc is a delicious hot chocolate drink which can be enjoyed at any time of the day, first thing in the moring to kick start your day or if you are like me, at home when you just need to unwind. If you just need a chocolate hit, just have a mug of Options belgian choc, that will do the trick. I have only had a mug of this during the day, when I have been bored of drinking tea or coffee and I just needed something different. The big plus for me is that you don't need to add sugar or milk, this is really helpful beause I am always running out of milk or sugar at night and I can't get to the shop because the kids are in bed. I think it's well worth the price, it's the most fantastic instant hot chocolate drink I've ever experienced in my life. They also come in sachets which are very easy for you to take to work with you. You will never get bored of the taste because there are 6 different flavours to chose from.
So what would you go home to, a cup of options hot chococlate, or 3 hunks? I think I will still stick to the 3 hunks lol.

...chocolate and on it was Options Belgian Choc - a low calorie/low fat hot chocolate drink which is designed to give you that choccy boost without ruining your diet (obviously only if had as part of a calorie controlled diet!!).
I remember at first I was a bit dubious as I knew this product existed but was quite anti low calorie and low fat foods. But bearing in mind I had just been told that everything I enjoyed eating was now off the menu, I was ... ...feeling of being normal. And let's face it before being told I couldn't eat it I would have turned to the chocolate when I felt like this and so this was no different. So off I went to buy some and have been drinking it (and some of the other varieties) ever since. I have just opened a new "jar" of the Begian Choc variety and upon peeling away the foil top of the plastic jar you can smell the sweeter than usual contents for a hot chocolate drink. ...

This review is going to be based purely on the Tempting Toffee flavour option. This is due to the fact that the others have already been drunk.
***How to Make***
1. Boil kettle.
2. Place powder in cup
3. Pour in boiling water
4. Drink at your leisure
***Packaging***
They come in a relatively small plastic package that has a light blue background with white patches, which resembles the sky ... ...swirl is the brand name Options that again is brown, but slightly darker than the swirl. It also states that it contains one serving and contains 11g of chocolate powder. It also says that it only contains 43 calories per drink. On the back you will find all the relevant product information, like ingredients and nutritional information. More can be found out on this later in the review. The packet also has a foil inside for extra freshness.

...My favourite happens to be Options as they are lower in calories than most other chocolate drinks, and taste delicious. They do have a choice of flavours but my favourite is mint chocolate. You can buy these in sachets of two, which is great if you are buying them to try for the first time, also handy to put in your handbag and take to work. It is an instant drink so you only have to boil the kettle and add water. I buy a plastic jar, which allows ... ...and helps you to unwind. Options can help slimming or weight control only as part of a calorie controlled diet.It's Only 40 calories per drink. If you like chocolate flavoured mints then this is the one to buy, it is very creamy and satisfying.It mixes very well and the the smell of it is very pleasant indeed. Options Tempting Toffee flavour is a hot chocolate drink, which is less than 55 calories and has 1.2g fat. I enjoy hot chocolate drinks and am trying to lose weight so this seemed ideal, particularly as there are a variety of flavours. Originally, each sachet provided 2 drinks. However, the new sachets are no in 1 serving packets of 11g or in the case of Tempting Toffee 13.5g. To drink this you need to tear the dotted line in the top right and empty ... ...are 13.5g sachets. Options now come in single sachets (different thin packaging), which costs 25p each. Cadbury’s Highlights have double sachets for 37p (Tesco) and I have to purchase some of each, as they both have different flavours which are not all covered by the "opposition". Other Flavours

options belgium choc is the nicest hotchocolate i've ever tasted; it is by far the most creamy of the options and the most delectably chocolaty ever. i wa svery surprised by this as i like my hotchocolates to be very chocolaty and this did not only satisfy my chocolate need it was also quite filling.
the texture of this hotchocolate was incredible as it was very creamy and thick but unlike the usual hotchocolate it did not taste greasy at all nor did it have the slight texture or taste of powder.
all chocoholics out there have to try this hotchocolate as i strongly believe they will thoroughly enjoy it and never turn back to any other hotchocolate ever again. ...

I first had one of these a few months ago and have become addicted to them ever since.It's wonderfully creamy creamy texture is like liquid velvet . I bought this product from my local Sainsburys and Jacksons for 69p on special offer.
Being a fan of hotchocolate I decided to try something different from my normal cadburys.
I got the sachet home and followed the easy instructions, with in 5 minutes I had finished making the chocolate. The instructions were very detailed and easy to understand and read. I found that it only took around 1 minute to make and then I left it to cool.
Compared to all the other hotchocolates I have used including cadbuyrs, this as to be far by the best. It tastes a lot more rich and has a better chocolate taste.
It was great for a one of offer and I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a easy, fast and nice hotchocolate.
In future I will buy more of these.
