Optoma Technology's EP753 is a richly featured single chip projector based on DLP Technology. The EP753 offers a 1, 600 ANSI lumens brightness and is one of the first micro-portables to have reached a combination of such high brightness, 600:1 contrast ratio, and full HDTV video display capability (480p, 720p, 1080i) while weighing only 6.4 pounds. The Optoma EP753 features a native XGA (1024x768) resolution compressible to SXGA (1280x1024) and displays 16.7 million colors in either 4: 3 aspect ratio (native) or 16: 9 (compatible) aspect ratio and supports HDTV function, another demonstration of their versatility.
