...The Opotoma DV11 is the replacement for the DV10. This is a fantastic projector featuring the built in DVD player of the DV10. This is a home cinema projector it is 1300 Lumens which is perfectly adequate for home cinema. It is a widescreen projector so you will need a widesceen projector screen. Because of the built in dvd player this makes it a great home cinema feature. Just put your dvd in and of you go. It does have built in speakers however you might want to purchase a sound system to go with it to get the full home cinema effect. For what this projector is it has a very small price tag which makes it great if you are looking for a budget home cinema projector. The projector is very quiet so it is able to run without distracting you from your movie. Overall a fantastic projector, it really is a must have for bugdet home cinema....

Advantages: Good Clear Pictures Fast Refresh Rate Easy To Set Up Loads Of Connenctions Disadvantages: Gets Hot
...Having had a previous projector from Acer I was blown away with the quality of this one. It can be set up in minutes and focused in seconds. It has inferred sensors on the front and back, so where ever you put it you can still use the remote! The projector also has built in speakers and an audio connection on the back. The projector is 'plug and play', it took me about five minutes to set up and have a clear projection. Plug in the cables, press the Sync button, the projector will scroll through all its connections and stop when it finds something to project, truly amazing.
The overall build quality is very good and feels like it will last for years, even the remote control. The bulb is labelled to last a huge 4000 hours, a huge improvement on the old technology. I have read loads about DLP now and a site well worth visiting, which...

Advantages: Great picture, little rainbow effect, good looking projector. Disadvantages: No internal speaker
...This is a really great projector, at a very impressive price (£529 on Play) - the cheapest WXGA I've seen! Many DLPprojectors suffer from the "rainbow effect" but with this Optoma there is virtually no rainbow effect at all - this is due to the 4x speed colour wheel, which is faster than you would find in many other projectors. Out of the box, the picture is great. I found the yellows were maybe slightly muted but this can be adjusted by the on-screen menus. The actual projector looks very sleek - the black and silver case looks really classy - and it comes with all the inputs you could want, expect SCART, but don't worry - a SCART adapter comes in the box. Being HD ready, it's also got an HDMI port for your HD-DVD or Blu-ray. The remote is easy to use, and the buttons light up so you can see them in a darkened room. Thankfully...
