Advantages: BEAUTIFUL Disadvantages: Not for the none walkers of us
I went up the Picos De Europa Mountain range as part of my Duke of Edinburgh expedition.
I have to say, it was possibly the most beautiful mountain range i have ever encountered.
I am really into my mountaineering. At the end of september i am walking up the national 3 peaks in 24 hours so if any of you live near ben nevis, scafell or snowdon, come and say hello. The support would be muchly appreciated.
Picos de europa however. I found the best time to start walking was around 5/6 am and walk till about 12/1 pm as the heat at points was unbearable. Especially when you are at the top of a cold mountain and cant feel the heat because of the wind. (It can be dangerous and can get sun stroke instantly)

And they are our next generation.
?Where all Doomed !!!?
2. TRAFFIC WARDENS.
I suspect many street rats grow up and become traffic wardens, creeping around inflicting illegal parking fines on poor ...
The Pico Consul that I own is now 4 years old. It is branded by Pico and has a gold effect case which looks very stilish. The keyboard is very light to use and the touch sensitive mouse pad works very well.
My machine is fitted with the AMD Now 266mhz processor, 3gig hard-drive and cd-rom. There are also the usual ports including PCMCIA and USB. The modem slot is closed as this is an optional extra.
The TFT display is 12" and is very clear and crisp. The overall brightness is very good. It is driven by a 4mg Virge MX chip. There is an output for external monitor and TV.
The machine is not quite up to running Windows XP and the graphics is a little sluggish.Updated drivers are difficult to find and have had to make do with the generic Microsoft ones. However, I use to run Windows 98 on this machine with the supplied drivers ...
