I bought my Oral-B Vitality Precision Clean Electric Toothbrush in Boots just before Christmas and have been using it for around 3 months. Before this I had never used an electric toothbrush and was excited to find out what all the fuss was about, and I must admit I have been converted, I think I will be using electric toothbrushes in the future.
The first reason I decided that I would buy the Oral-B Vitality Precision Clean Electric Toothbrush is because it is rechargeable, and this is really handy for me as I hate when appliances run out of batteries and I am unable to top them up. The batteries when charged on this toothbrush last a very long time, I would say I get about a week and a half’s usage out of them before I need to recharge them.
Using this Tooth Brush
This toothbrush is really easy to use, you simply brush over your teeth, one at a time, front and back, it doesn’t take much longer than using a manual brush and it leaves my teeth feeling really clean and refreshed so it is worth taking a little extra time with.
I am really happy with the results that this toothbrush gives in my teeth, they feel really clean and much fresher than after brushing my teeth with a manually.
I also like this toothbrush because, I usually find that using my teeth manually can leave my gums feeling sore (even though my dentist assures me they are healthy) and this toothbrush doesn’t aggravate them at all.
Price and Availability
You can buy this toothbrush in Boots for £35, which is a good price for an electric toothbrush in my opinion and the results are definitely worth paying a little extra for. Replacement heads for this toothbrush are however a little pricey, a pack of 4 are around £17 and a pack of 2 are almost £10, though sometimes they go on offer, so it is worthwhile to keep an eye out for them when they are a little cheaper and stock up.
Overall I am glad that I bought this toothbrush, it gives great results, and provided you shop smartly, it isn’t that expensive to buy and run. Overall I would give this toothbrush 4 out of 5 stars.
