The E200 takes many of the functions found in a PDA, and combines them with the conveinience of a phone sized device. If you think an E200's size and weight are a problem, walk around with a PDA + clamshell phone in the same pocket for a week and then think again ;-)
Battery life next: The battery life of my E200 has never been a problem for me, I am a heavy user and can get through 2+ hours talktime / day, I use it for the web a lot too. I can usually get away with charging every other day. Bearing in mind most phones have a little over 5 hours talktime that isn't really that bad. If i'm not using my phone a lot (off work / on holiday) the phone will last 3/4 days without a re-charge. One thing i will mention is if there is an SD card in the slot your battery will drain much faster (Even if your not accessing the memory) this is however a small price to pay so that you can remove + insert the card without having to swich off.
It's a Phone...
The E200 functions well as a phone, signal is never a problem for me, speech quality is excellent (although the loudspeaker gets a bit muffled). The ringtones are loud and clear (and if you look hard enough - there is NOTHING you can't have as your ringtone for free). The contacts list is extensive you can have home#, work#, email address etc. the list is very long, and the search function is very intuitive (like predictive text for your phone book). SMS / MMS messages are easy to create + send. One drawback is that the phone does not support the sending of Video MMS (Due to the size of the video clip). It's a sturdy handset that in my case has been dropped many a time, still relatively unmarked and working fine. I have had it replaced twice. once because I installed something i shoudn't, and i fell on it another time (hey i'm no lightweight). Other than that the only hitch is the joystick, it does start to misbehave after a while due to dust that gets in around the joystick, This can be cleared with carefull use of a pin but dosen't happen that often.

The camera on the phone is reasonable, it's only VGA (0.3 Mega-Pixel) but in good light the quaity is excellent, video is the same, it records smoother than many other phones i have used. However, when it gets darker the camera's performance becomes really poor. Pictures are grainy, videos are jumpy and blocky, not pleaseant.
The phone comes with 28mb of usable memory on the phone and an SD card slot that can accomodate cards up to 512Mb (supported) in size. More than enough memory for a phone, a decent amount for a PDA.
Bluetooth works fine on the handset, and although when bought the sending of pictures / ringtones via bluetooth is not supported, this can be fixed with a free application downloaded from the net.
This brings me on to the E200's strongest point. Flexibility. The phone itself comes packaged with a handfull of features, (internet browser, MSN messenger, media player) but if you want t it to do anything else, search around. Someone on the internet has got a program that will do it compatible with this phone (Mine has a second job as a TV remote !!).
All in all, good buisness phone, excellent gadget phone. but slightly large for 'just a phone' thankfully that is something that the E200 is not.

LOOKS
The phone itself is qwuite large and bulky but the way I see it, is that it is packed with features. It weighs in at 120g but to its credit has a fantastic 16-bit TFT showing 65,536 colours. This is by far the best screen that I have seen on a phone (better than the Nokia 6600 - which I also ... ...phone have a green or orange tint to it. The video capture is a great bonus but is not of very good quality. (However, the camera on the Nokia 6600 is MUCH better and even the video capture is quite good.)

This is one of the phone's best features. The phone supports Infrared and Bluetooth as standard. The phone also comes with a cradle for connection to your PC. If you however need a greater level of PDA functions and size of the phone is not an issue, I would recommend the Orange M3000 or the O2 XDA 2. ...

I've had this phone for about 18 months now, and features-wise it is still quite impressive.
It comes with internet explorer and msn messenger so you can keep in touch and browse the internet on the go, includes Outlook and ActiveSync to syncronise your messages between your PC and the phone automatically when you drop it in it's cradle.
There is also a fair amount of software available on the internet for anything from skype (not with voice at ... ...side things aren't quite so good. It's still working after 18 months but it has developed several faults. These include the "joystick" not always moving up and down correctly, and one key getting "stuck" after it has been pressed. The battery doesn't hold much charge now (and this is after light use). The software used to be prone to hanging, but this seems to have been fixed and it is now much more stable in day to day usem but one thing that has ...

The Orange E200, uses Windows for Mobile operating system, This means that the phone can be hard to learn if you move from the likes of Nokia or Sony to this phone. Once you have the phone switched on and working it is really easy to use and live with on a day to day basis. My phone came with an 8MB memory card but you can use upto 512MB, this should give you lots of scope for playing MP3's.
This phone allows you to view the proper internet and ... ...The phone has an integrated Inbox so you can view SMS, MMS and emails on the phone, it will even download your POP3 emails. The battery life on the phone is quite short with only two days of usage on the battery, with moderate use. The phone also includes a speakerphone and is also compatible with Bluetooth so you can use a Bluetooth car kit with the phone. CONCLUSION:
The Nokia 6600 gets FOUR STARS. There is nothing wrong with this phone, in fact I could not find many bad points about this at all. However, the changes from it?s predecessors are mainly cosmetic, and software-wise, not much different from either Nokia 3650 or 7650. If you?re upgrading or taking out a new contract, this is definitely one to consider.
Competition in this sector of the market is provided by Sony Ericsson?s P900 and OrangeSPVE200. Both, arguably are more powerful, but neither are as easy to use. The 6600 is, therefore a real sure-bet phone, you?re unlikely to be disappointed. ...
