I've had this device for about eight months and decided to share my thoughts about it.
Firstly the aesthetics; let me just say that this phone looks fantastic. The white casing is shiny and looks impressive every time you whip it out of your pocket. The usual buttons are situated at the bottom of the device; the green call answer button, the red call release button, two selection buttons (their functions depend on which software you are using at the time) and the directional movement buttons (up, down, left and right) with the selection button sat in the middle of them. Very easy to use and so far haven't had any finger fumbles that you sometimes get on devices of this nature. There are also 3 programmable buttons around the side of the device that can be altered to open the program of your choice as well as a power button to wake the device from standby mode. Another useful feature here is the inclusion of a jog wheel, extremely handy when scrolling up and down pages making rapid scrolling easy.
As you would expect the device comes with a handy stylus pen (styled in the same colours as the device) and they thoughtfully include a spare one in the box.

This phone comes with some rather nice specifications, although there are newer devices with perhaps better basic specs, it still manages to shine during use. The device uses a Samsung 2442 CPU running at 400Mhz which although not the quickest does a fine job during operation, I have honestly noticed very little slow down during my use of the device. There is 128Mb internal memory which is a pretty decent amount, although this can fill up quickly when you are recording movies, taking pictures, adding ring tones and themes / backgrounds etc. The 128Mb on the box (as usual) is a little bit less, my device has 57.82 Mb of internal storage memory and 49.10 internal program memory. Luckily to counter this problem there is a Mini SD card slot on the side of the device to allow massive amounts of storage. I have been running a 1Gb SD card with no problems although I have read in a couple of places that people have had problems when trying to use > 2Gb cards, although this could just be a rumour.

The device has a 2 Mega pixel camera which has produced some good quality photographs in most conditions. It does seem to struggle in very low light conditions but other than this it is great. There is also a low quality front facing camera for those important 3G video calls, although you may prefer to use an avatar to hide your mug.
The phone is quad band and allows GPRS connections which allow you to browse the Internet whenever and wherever you want to (providing you can afford Orange's extortionate data tariffs).
Thankfully there is also Wireless LAN capability to allow you to jump on hotspots in appropriate areas and even home networks (preferably your own ;) ). Bluetooth is included, along with a Bluetooth explorer program where you can create a Bluetooth shared folder to share files with others.

Normally this might be where a mobile phone review ends but this phone just keeps on giving. Included in this sleek product is a built in GPS receiver which allows you to pinpoint your location anywhere in the world (in theory). This can be used with programs like Google Maps and will allow you to get a fix on your location and see the surrounding areas. My favourite use had to be buying the Tom Tom software, whacking the SD Card in and away you go. Sometimes a little bit slow to pick up a signal but once it does it hasn't lost the signal once, much better than the Tom Tom Go I started out with.
