After being leered into an 18month contract with a FREE PS3 I was utterly disappointed to find that not only did I continuously lose signal when roaming the UK but also, I was given 3 faulty phones by Orange themselves. This was the 1st inconvenience caused as I live an hour away from any Orange Store.
I had contacted Orange customer services several times and received very little help if any! They were slow at getting back to me about my issues raised and told me on one occasion that I would have to phone the helpline up instead of sending an emailing. I was more than happy to do this but spent over an hour on the phone on hold, running up a huge bill which they never apologised for. I was also charged for countless phone calls and texts that i had not actually made or sent.
With only 4 months left remaining until my 18month contract was up I decided to pay myself out of it (which cost £158.72) I had had enough of the problems and bad customer service!! I am now with o2 and am very happy with the phone itself and their customer care. I brought myself an iPhone and have also written a review on that comparing it against the Samsung Tocco which I was originally going to get.
My advice to anyone who is considering getting an Orange phone is to firstly:
Check out how good their network coverage will be in your area (by visiting the orange website - http://www.orange.co.uk) Considering whether you really need a 12-18 month contract because there is a hefty charge on cancelling it. If there are any FREE items with the phone (eg. The PS3 that came with mine) ask yourself why this deal is on! And finally, do not always go by what the sales person tells you. Remember, they are not in the sales industry for your benefit.
Hope this helps and if anyone hasn't had problems with Orange then id like to hear from you. Maybe I was just a very unfortunate customer.

Advantages: They'll match almost any other networks tarrif, and Wildfire is pretty entertaining. Disadvantages: You really can't use your phone between 7 and 10 at night.
