Much to my pleasant surprise having just purchased an Orange mobile phone on the Just Talk tariff I found the phone provides a signal for much of the remote North Yorks Moors area.
Areas such as Lockton , Saltersgate and even the famous village of Goathland made famous for the filming of Yorkshire Television's Heartbeat has a very strong signal.
This is in complete contrast to rival cellnet whose phone is dead in Goathland and much of the Moors.
The Moors are some of the most remote parts of England and this is a very impressive performance from Orange.
Very reasuring if you are stuck out there .
