...The Orbit PTVDVD768S 3 IN 1 portable DVD player is the perfect compainion for a long journey. It lets you play movies, listen to music and even picks up TV! There are now many portable DVD players around, but not many as good as this. It comes with a carry case that doubles up as a support to attatch to the head rests in your car along with a power adapter for the cigerrette lighter socket. If you have kids you can keep them entertained with this little box of pleasures. Put on their favorite DVD or let them play their own music so you dont have to hear! It even comes with an aerial for picking up TV, which, to be honest doesnt tend to pick up much, but when it does it is decent enough quality. Advantages: Great all round screen with HDMI interface
Disadvantages: Only 720p

...I purchased this Telly on Boxing Day 2005 back then this was a huge screen and i paid just under 3000 pounds for it from Currys. I went for this due to the pure quality display Currys Had. Yet the screen is nearly 2 years old and only a 720p screen it is superb quality. Sound is Average but with a home cinema sound system its nothing to worry about. Unfortuantly due to plasma it has potential to screen burn. I have yet to experience this after a year and a half of use! I have run movies, media players and Xbox 360 in High Def. Yet get no permantent burn to the screen. If the screen is switched off after having a static image on it you can see ghost images but this is nothing to be concerned about. ...will sound tinny and will seem to echo. The sound is also highly customisable to your needs, with 4 sub woofer settings, different surround sound settings, and the ability to individually control amplfication to the 5 speakers, you will be able to set the system up to whatever room you will put it in. I have used mine in a bedroom as well as my lounge, and the system has performed well in both scenarios. Looks - The styling of the system will look great with any TV, as the black and silver head unit will match 99% of TV's on the market. The 4 orbital tall-boy speakers can be hung on the walls (at half size) or left free standing at full height on the floor, and are un-obtrusive and stylish in the room.
