Advantages Good gaming concept

Disadvantages Could have more restaurants

This wii game is a fun and addictive game. As your customers order food, you prepare and cook them. You start off as a chef and work your way up, cooking in better restaurants and more complicated dishes as you go along. You start off in a greasy fast food restaurant and provided you impress the food critic after cooking so many dishes and cooking so many impressive meals you get to upgrade to a higher quality restaurant.

You can also buy special ingredients that you can use in your dishes. The higher the restaurant quality, the more special ingredients you reveal and also need to use. You learn different cooking techniques, including chopping, frying, saute-ing, bakeing, spreading and even grilling.

You can earn extra money from tips from your customers depending on how well you prepare and cook your meals. Another way of earning your money is going to the market and showing your skills to one of the special chefs, who give you money if you are any good. Anyway of earning money is by tripping up the paper boy when you are stood outside the restaurant and then helping him pick up his papers.

The money you then earn helps you to buy your special ingredients, upgrades on your chefs, new menus and even fast food professors. You also need the money in order to buy a higher grade of restaurant when you have finally impressed the food critic. As mentioned before in order to impress the food critic you must prepare and cook for your food critic perfectly. As the level of the restaurant gets higher, so do the standards and you must know which special ingredients to use.

The graphics of this game are pretty goofy, but they do the job and make it feel a little old skool. This game is addictive as it has an element of having of achieve something and get better at it. It has a good gaming concept.

It would be good if this game was 2 player and you were 2 competing restaurants and doing cook-offs or something of the sort. It would also be good if there were more restaurants to choose from rather than having a set route you have to take when upgrading.

Overall this is a fun game and I have had many fun hours playing it. Would recommend, but once you have completed the game, then thats it really and can complete it in a short period of time.
