Many people have a digital camera nowadays but how many people can you impress with those bulky things! The reaction I get when I whip mine out (I mean the camera!) is genuinly of pure amazement.

The DS6618 Card Cam is the ultimate in cool digital technology. It is so convenient and easy to use and is fully functional. Although best used in daylight the camera incorporates brightness enhancement technology (AutobriteTM) enabling indoor use.

My original motivation to purchase a digital camera was to counteract my constant "I wish I had a camera for that moment" So I needed something convenient to carry around which could capture these moments.

The package is very neat and can literally fits in my wallet or shirt pocket. It is very useful in my line of work and continually assists my memory and assists in presentations and other reports.

It has 8MB of internal memory and the battery (built in) is recharged through the USB cable and is capable of thousands of recharges provided guidlines are followed. Downloading the images is very easy and just takes a couple of click on the mouse. The software is no-nonsense,functional and robust.
I personally have downloaded more than a thousand photos from the camera and have not had one problem

The down side is that the max picture quality is only 640 x 480 which for me is good enough as it serves its purpose but a 1 Megapixel would have certainly made this product hard to beat. Having said that the value for money that this camera offers is excellent - I managed to pick it up for under £50 at a local store so its worth searching on the web for that deal.

If you need a camera for taking quality pictures then you are better off with a higher resolution camera. But if you want a camera for those moments or as an aid for memory or just to impress then this is the one - definately a collectors item but a useful one.
