As far as I know , this camera is no longer available new, but this review may be of use to a second-hand buyer. I bought one in Nov. 2003 for Just over a hundred pounds. It has been totally reliable, even in the humid weather of Sri Lanka during the monsoon season. At the time, a camera with these comprehensive features and optical zoom was generally a lot more expensive. It is comfortable to hold and ergonomic in use. I like its menu system. Just over a year ago, I passed it on to a family member who did not treat it with the greatest of respect. I have it back now, complete with the scars of a busy life. It still performs well and I will keep it as a pocketable holiday/convenience camera.
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
It was a bit too brief to rate any higher, good opinion but not enough detail. Kat x

Welcome to ciao, a good start, well written, but more details are needed to get higher ratings. if you edit your review, pop a message in my guestbook and I'll happily come back and re-rate. Sounds like a good camera. hope you enjoy ciao, the first review is always the hardest. Jules x

it was helpful in that you got across your view on the camera, i would have preferred more information on the camera, what sort of pictures you can take with it, the ease of use, how you transfer pictures to your PC, hows the battery life. James
Advantages: Relatively inexpensive, easy to use, 3.3MP, lots of features Disadvantages: No case included with camera, small and fiddly, short battery life
