GARDEN FLEECE
What is it? Well you don`t have to keep sheep and I am not referring to your best
jumper. This is horticultural fleece for use by smart gardeners. It is a very lightweight
fibrous material that allows light, heat and rain through and will resist about 3 degrees
of frost. Moor if used doubled.
Why use it? In a nutshell to protect your plants from birds, insects and, to some
degree, from frost. It is particularly effective for keeping birds off of your newly sown
peas. Just lay it flat over the site and peg down with tent pegs, or bricks, at reasonable
intervals. For late sowings drape it over half hoops and leave it there until your peas
are ready to be staked and it will eliminate the pea moth.
It will keep carrot fly away from, would you believe carrots, and, any number of pests

Advantages: Well paid, can work when you want, no planning Disadvantages: Behaviour, unpaid holidays, lack of social side

Extras is a sitcom about (wait for it) film extras. Gervais plays Andy Millman, a lovable guy who is both very funny but also very vulnerable - a comic mix. Office co-creator Stephen Merchant also takes a role in the show, playing the idiotic agent and ex-Carphone Warehouse worker Darren Lamb.
Andy Millman is very different to David Brent, sharing only a couple of facial expressions. Millman is more down to earth, a very cynical guy with a biting sense of humour and a vulnerable desire to achieve.
Each episode sees Andy working as an extra on a film ...
